inspiration for short movie openings/analysis 1

The thing that i like in this opening that i want to use for my murder/mystery or horror short film is that in the beginning you see her dying and that it then reverses. i want to do something like this but its the complete opposite, you will seem them as they slowly die so originally they are on the floor and slowly their breathing gets shallower and slower and if they are injured/cut you will see the cut get worse and they will bleed out. what i may also do is rather than have a lullaby in the background i will either have a music box or the sound of a clock ticking. Also i will have flashbacks in but they wont be a back story it will show that their life is flashing before their eyes and they see some of their happier memories, the focus will be on them one minute and the next it will be a flashback. it will either be in dull cold colours e.g. browns, whites, blacks and greys, or just in black and white.
