Suckablood - short fairytale horror from BloodyCuts.co.uk on Vimeo.
This is an original fairytale of horror. It is about a girl who is caught by her mother sucking her thumb so her mother summons the suckablood, a creature that eats people that suck their thumbs.
One of the things i like about this video is the narration: the narrator talks in rhymes, i consider this to be important because some fairytales rhyme and the sentences are short and most people associate short sentences with fairytales.

collage

This is a collage of things that I consider important: my siblings, my dog and a few photos from-the Scillys, Holland, Germany and France.

THE CANDIDATE from David Karlak on Vimeo.
The candidate is an original mystery. Its a video about a man who feels that he has been unfairly overlooked time and time again by his boss and is angry and annoyed that his presentation partner is always given the credit for each new client that he signs on. One day the candidate is visited by a member of a secret society that tells him about the society and what they do, the candidate presumes that he is there to recruit him but the man is actually there to tell him that he is to be a victim that there society is wishing dead for one of its member. One of the things I like about this film is that the man is almost constantly narrating the film and it starts with the sound of a ticking clock and I think this is significant because it shows that the victims time is running out.

If tomorrow starts without me from Camille Marotte on Vimeo.
This is a very touching and sentimental video, it is narrated by a man that sounds old and near the end of his life. This is important because he talks about his passing and how he misses his family and how everyone longs for yesterday. He talks about how in heaven no one longs for yesterday because today never ends and how when he died he was set free. What I like about the video is that there is music in the background for the whole duration of the video. The photo's used in the video show that no matter what happens time doesn't stop for anyone and everyday is the same and everything continues as normal until the day you die.

TWINS from passion panorama on Vimeo.
  - Twins
This is a touching video about a pair of identical teddy bears. The bears belong to a pair of twins. One day the eldest twin leaves, taking her bear with her. This video shows the adventure of the younger twin who is determined to reunite the bears. One of the things I like I about this video is that it always has sound in the background, whether its the teddy squeaking or the clap of thunder. Another thing I like about the video is that as the girl grows so does her bear, so by the end when she says good bye to her bear she realizes she has grown up and its symbolically shows that she is saying good bye to her childhood.

A love story that is told in three different time periods childhood, present and past life. The girl tells her father about a reoccurring dream she has, which she believes is a past life, she tells her father that she thinks the couple is them. The point of this story is to show that love can cross endless boundaries as well as exploring the idea of reincarnation. One of things I like about this short film is that it constantly has background noise, I also like the fact that they've used three different time periods to explain the story, as well as the use of fog later on in the flash backs. I like the use of fog because near the ending because it makes it seem mysterious, so you dont know whats going to happen next
